What is BMF’s Baby Skin Booster?

Skin boosters are a non-invasive treatment option to help revitalize the skin, improving its appearance, texture, and slow down the ageing process.

Skin Boosters are an alternative way to nourish your skin, especially designed to deliver deep-skin hydration. This means increasing hydration levels within the skin to deliver lasting moisturisation and improvements on the skin’s surface, creating a fresh and natural look.

Comprising of key ingredients like Rejuran® with Polynucleotide (PN) and Tranexamic Acid, Baby Skin will help to address acne scars, enlarged pores, oily, acne-prone skin, mild pigmentation, increase skin elasticity and firmness, improve overall skin quality, and repair damaged skin cells.

Understanding Rejuran® with Polyneucleotides (PN):

Rejuran® promotes favourable regeneration of cells from deep within the skin. It harnesses the regenerative potential of polynucleotides (PN), DNA fragments sourced from wild salmon. PN molecules are an intensified form of polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN) commonly used in skincare and medical applications in Korea, boasting superior regenerative properties and improving skin elasticity. Extracted from Salmon DNA, Rejuran®'s PN showcases remarkable biocompatibility with human skin, making it a highly suitable and effective skin rejuvenation treatment for most individuals.

Benefits of Rejuran®:

Why do you need Rejuran®?

Damaged skin
has weaker self‑regenerative capabilities, which may accelerate the skin aging process.
This can lead to an increase in fine wrinkles, the appearance of pigmentation and a decrease in skin
elasticity.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

How frequent is treatment required?

Rejuran® is not like conventional fillers or laser treatments. It works by promoting favourable physiological conditions for the skin’s own regenerative ability to restore own collagen structure and increase skin elasticity. This allows your skin to recover with a course of 4 treatments with intervals of 3-4 weeks between sessions, followed by a treatment every 6 months to nurture a healthy skin condition.

Can I continue my daily lifestyle after the treatment?

While there may be some initial slight swelling or papules on the treated areas immediately after Rejuran® treatments, this will subside within 24 hours and you can go about your day activities as usual.

Which part of the skin will benefit the most from this treatment?

For best results, the treatment should cover your entire face rather than just the eye region. Rejuran® improves aging and damaged skin.

Does the treatment cause any adverse side effect?

Composed of highly bio-compatible DNA fragments, Rejuran® fundamentally restores the skin without any side effects. It is also completely safe and effective for areas that are difficult to treat with hyaluronic acid filler or toxin.

Does frequent aesthetic treatment cause the skin to become thin and sensitive?

Not when receiving treatment from Rejuran®. Utilizing the main ingredient, PN, it has a dose-dependent effect that will make your skin fully saturate and derive optimal benefits.

What is Tranexamic Acid?

Tranexamic acid, commonly referred to as TXA, is a synthetic compound made up of an amino acid naturally in our bodies that has gained interest due to its various applications in aesthetics. Originally intended to promote blood clotting and avoid excessive bleeding, Tranexamic acid has the ability in skincare to treat hyperpigmentation problems such as melasma and other skin conditions associated with hyperpigmentation. In skincare routines, it demonstrates results in reducing discoloration and improving skin tone.

Tranexamic acid has whitening and brightening effects especially for hyperpigmentation including melasma.

Is Tranexamic Acid good for the skin?

The anti-inflammatory properties of TXA, coupled with its ability to inhibit melanin production, point to its immense potential in dermatology.  TXA restricts the pathway connecting the keratinocytes and melanocytes, effectively reducing the interaction between the skin cells and the melanin-forming cells.  This helps to effectively resolve skin concerns such as:

  • Pigmentation
  • Dark spots
  • Uneven skin tone
Does Tranexamic Acid reduce pigmentation?

Tranexamic Acid works by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour, thereby helping to reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Research studies and clinical trials where 84 women and 16 men received TXA and hydroquinone, a skin-lightening bleaching agent, as topical treatments were found to have a decreased severity of melasma after using TXA. Its application in topical creams or serums has shown improvements in reducing the intensity of pigmentation, leading to a more even complexion over time.
